In the tense final moments of the first series, the Eyes came to collect Offred (played by Elisabeth Moss) from the Waterford household.
Former lover Nick (Max Minghella) assured her that they were there to help, but viewers have been left wondering if they had an ulterior motive.
Were the men secret Mayday operatives coming to rescue Offred and Nick's baby, or has she just been captured for refusing to go ahead with helping an execution?
Actress Elisabeth has revealed that she was “teary” after reading the final script, but was “thankful” to the writers.
