Piers Morgan blasted JK Rowling over her Donald Trump tweets
Earlier this week, Harry Potter author Rowling, 51, hit out at Donald Trump in a series of eight tweets to her 11 million followers, blasting his apparent refusal to shake the hand of a disabled child which was caught on video.
"Trump imitated a disabled reporter," she vented. "Now he pretends not to see a child in a wheelchair, as though frightened he might catch his condition.
"(Unless related to him by ties of blood, and therefore his creations) are tread with contempt, because they do not resemble Trump," she continued.
Rowling said that her mother had used a wheelchair, adding: "So yes, that clip of Trump looking deliberately over a disabled child's head, ignoring his outstretched hand, has touched me on the raw.

The footage appeared to show the Trump repeatedly ignoring the youngster as he reached up to shake his hand, but Piers Morgan, 52, has since tweeted a series of pictures showing the president greeting the child.

He demanded that she apologise and remove her tweets
Taking to Twitter, the Good Morning Britain host hit out at Rowling for being active on Twitter but failing to apologise for her tweets, which seem now to have been based on false information.
"So @JK_rowling's been back on Twitter but neither deleted, nor apologised for, this disgraceful lie. Her Trump-loathing knows no honesty," he seethed.
Sharing three images of the previously debated handshake with his 5.98 million followers, Morgan added: "JK Rowling, in eight tweets, raged that Trump snubbed a disabled boy. This is Trump greeting that boy. Why won't she delete and apologise?"
